Fragments de Mémoire

Olivier Charland
2022

Halfway between urban cartography and comic book panels, each manipulated frame evokes either a solid architectural structure, a playful event, or poetically revives a fragment of memory. The expressive, organic lines and vibrant colors visually tell the story of the city's (Montreal) liveliness, its inhabitants, and their achievements.

Inspired by advertising billboards, this analog interactive wall allows passers-change the artworks shown by turning a dial.
